Welcome to My Hell, How About a Glass of Wine?


     Once upon a time, in a sunny and peacful park, Emmy Dunfer sat on a bench. Ha-ha. Wouldn't that be nice? Ah, well minus the sun...

     Hey. I am Emmy Dunfer. Nice little dream I have there, huh? Well, again, minus the sun. I can't stand the sun. It's always so bright and blinds you each time you go outside. We'll just replace the sun with the moon and we're all good!
     Anyway, I'm here to tell you about my oh-so-wonderful life! Psh, I wish. This isn't some happy story about an every day seventeen-year-old girl. No, this is the story of the crappy life of my kind and me. And yes, I said my kind. You see, I'm not a girl at all...Well, at least not a human girl that is. I am a, as you humans would call it, a vampire.
     You don't believe me, huh? Hey, I wouldn't blame you! I wouldn't believe me if I were you either. I mean common you pick up this random book that just happens to have an interestion title and already the main character claims to be a vampire...And it's only the first page! Pretty crazy shit huh?
     Well, whether you believe me or not doesn't change the fact of what I am. I could think that you are my friend, but really you aren't. You are just another human. A spoiled species. You get just about everything you want. Oh? What is that I hear? You don't get everything you want? Ok, how about everything you need? And really I mean what you need to survive. No protests there, huh? Didn't think so.
      Ok, you might be thinking why am I going to tell you this story that's so personal and secretive if you're not even my friend. Well, because you'll listen. That's the thing about humans. You put a story in a nice little book with a mysterious title and they'll read it. They'll read the whole entire thing and when they reach the end, they'll think it's fake.
       So go ahead. Read my story. Read it all the way through and ponder everything I told you. Believe whatever you want. Belive that we don't exist. Hell, if I were you I would. I wouldn't want to believe in the things that we have to go through. I go through my life wishing that it was all a dream. Rather, a nightmare.
       But those of you who do believe, I hope you forgive us. Yes, please forgive us. We didn't choose this path. It's not our fault we were born like this. I lived my whole kid life thinking I was normal...that we were normal. But we're not. Normal little kids don't kill. And I'm sorry. I might have killed one of your family members, friends, classmates, co-workers, or just an everyday aquaintance. If I didn't, then I'm sure one of our kind have. For that, I am deeply sorry...
